A few things; It's a short flight from LAX to Vegas. That's about an hour total. Alaska Airlines has a few airports that are considered "Early Sit" destinations (which the flight attendant stated). These early sit destinations mean that flight attendants MUST be seated early for landing. Typically they sit around the 10,000 ft point on descent, an early sit, they will be seated by 18,000 ft, which is approximately 20-25 minutes before landing. So that 1 hr flight, means the flight attendants are seated the last half of the flight. To start, the flight attendants have to be seated after takeoff. That's about 10-20 minutes seated at the start of the flight. In total, to do a "full service", that leaves the F/A's 20 minutes to do a full service and clean up. That's not a lot of time. If turbulence is forecasted for the flight, the safety of the flight crew trumps a guest getting their morning coffee, which was offered BEFORE door closure. Second point, Alaska Airlines and most airlines in the US do not control TSA. Some airlines will have priority TSA, but that's not the case in LAX. Get TSA pre-check or CLEAR. Also it's LAX-LAS. I wouldn't expect much on ANY flight that short.

Air Quality in Arrowhead is consistently Horrible. Why? Riverside and San Bernadino are hubs for diesel guzzling trucks, which creates the unhealthiest air in the US

I know the Coliseum gets a bad rep from everyone, and yes it is far from the best stadium in MLB, but I happened to enjoy my visit there a few years ago. The staff was very friendly, and the ballpark kind of had a charm to it. It is a shame the A's are moving out of Oakland at the end of this season. Poor ownership can be blamed for that. The Oakland fans are passionate for their team and deserve better.

The bus services both have major issues... especially method of payment (cashless) FLIX and filthy, sardine style buses, Greyhound.......

The E Line is pretty cool. I recently took it to Culver City so I could see the Culver City Stairs. There's this really cool and mysterious building at the La Cieniga and Jefferson stop.. It really stands out for its unique architecture.

This restaurant is very good. However, I think it is a copy cat of Lawry's. Lawry's is better but both are very good.

I am happy you enjoyed our quaint blue collar fishing village. We don’t try to me anything more than we are. From my perspective, I’m glad that most LA traffic ends up in Pismo Beach which is more reminiscent of SoCal beach communities. Many of our guests are salt of the earth folk from the Central Valley who also appreciate the simple unpretentious laid back Morro vibe, and world travelers making the coastal route on Hwy 1. My morning walk traces all the places on the Embracadero you highlighted in this very well crafted video. Difference is, I love to greet the dawn before the town wakes up and the only sounds are from the seal lions and gulls greeting the pre-dawn morning and the fishing boats head out to sea. I hope you come back sometime.

Would love to catch a Knights game in Vegas. I am a big hockey fan and always enjoy visiting new arenas. I'll try and go when the Knights are playing the New York Islanders, but I'll be rooting for the Islanders.

Word to the wise, never even make eye contact with those characters in the street because they will approach you and then demand money. I see it all the time walking around Times Square in NYC. When Spider Man started talking to you, just turn around, walk away and don't give him any attention. He'll just move on and scam the next person. I am very sorry that happened to you. Hope it doesn't happen again.

That looks like a great deal, and you got a window seat! My only thing with Delta basic is that they won't give you any frequent flyer miles. Other carriers do in basic.

Leave it to Greyhound for such exceptional customer service. It is amazing how positive you were to the station worker yet still she acted that way towards you. At least your bus driver made up for everything. He seemed very happy and enjoyed what he was doing. Props to him!
